Review: illi sheet mask -ginseng,cocoon,green tea,orchid - Microfiber & hydrogel

Hello everybody =)

Today i will talk about sheet mask from a korean brand called  'illi' .


'illi hanbang bio 'is a korean local brand (under AmorePacific) , They making good body-care products ,face mask and cleansing products.
Oh ya baby products too .

Jun Ji-hyun as their brand ambassador . The Main character in 'My love from the star '
*Three products in the poster total aging bodycare line , is brilliant good (especially body wash and lotion ).
I will write a full review with illi bodycare products , they really worth to shout out . 



Okie lets go back to illi face mask review :

I brought during set offer , one set contains 10 box and every box filled with 4 different type of sheet mask .


This is a 4-days mask programed set , use accordingly  to the chart and achieve moisture glowing skin . But i didn't really follow , i just eeny,meeny,miny,moe and pick one .

From left to right
1.Ginseng 
2.Green tea
3.Cocoon
4.Orchid

Only ginseng is hydrogel type , the rest is microfiber .



First , Green tea

-The mask separate into two parts
-scent is floral plus a hint of ginseng
-Good and easy fit
-They using microfiber instead of cotton , is softer and slightly elastic
-milky essence, not thick and smooth to massage
after : oil 25.0   water 55.6
-can see immediately brightening result but doesn't last long . It because skin filled with hydration and will look a bit brighten.



Second , Ginseng

*Prescription only in korean

-Hydrogel type , the essence are infusion in hydrogel sheet but doesn't make it wet
-Ultra thin and stay on face well 
-It also available in two part
- It gives hydration and moisture without 'watery wet' like normal sheet mask
-Although is ginseng mask but the scent is not overpowering in bitter side , is good combine with ginseng and floral
-Super big hole for eyes and mouth area ¯\_(ツ゚)_/¯
-transparent liquid gel consistency essence , i found this not suitable to massage because i get some tiny granule on my face  


Then , Cocoon  
*Prescription in korean

-Separate into two parts
-Super soft and stay on skin well
Before : oil 15.9   water 35.4
After :   oil 24.9    water 55.4

-watery milky essence
-Floral +ginseng scent , is quite comfortable
-Softest among these 4 type
-Moisture last longer than others too .



Last ,Orchid 
*prescription only in korean

-Good fit and it really stick on face
-Transparent liquid consistency essence , scent is almost same with other but this with a hint of orchid
-This have same cutting with cocoon type one .
Because the microfiber really 'stick' well so they separate them with a plastic net , so it is more convenient and easy to took out from the packaging

Before :oil  16.2  water 36.1
After   : oil 26.9   water 59.8

Lets just skip the number ,you can notice a HUGE different after apply face mask
-Balanced skin tone
-Pore getting smaller and neat
-soft and smooth



Conclusion :

I love illi face mask and i will highly recommend others to have a try too .
Microfiber and hydrogel really gives better result and stay on face very very well .
The scent is pleasant and moisture it gives able to last until next morning .

This is the zoom-up picture for essence that leftover in the packaging.
Cocoon and Green tea are milky type , orchid is runny liquidity , and ginseng is liquid-gel type . 

My favorite is green tea and cocoon .
Ginseng one have slightly bitter scent than others but still bearable .

I got mine in gmarket, but the set that i brought are completely sold out .=(
Maybe you can try your luck in others korean beauty stall or find others merchant in gmarket .

Today's main character will be .... *drum rolls sssss*


Banobagi Vita Genic Jelly Mask

There are 4 type available in the market

Red-Vitamin E (lifting)
Blue -Vitamin B ( Hydrating )
Yellow -Vitamin c ( Whitening )
Green  -Vitamin A ( Relaxing )


First , i have no idea with the company - BANOBAGI
I was thought this is a small company and not well-known.. I am totally WRONG

So, these mask are gentle and hydrate enough for people who post surgery too .
*they will face extremely dehydration after certain face treatment such as laser ,peeling and mesotherapy .

I got 2 type , lifting and hydrating .
I got it from gmarket gmarket banobagi jelly mask
Price is 10900 won for 10 pieces .

''The 'liposome vitamin' jelly sheet mask is filled with ingredients that are nutritious and moisturizing.
The oxygen water from jeju island with its exceptional skin moisturizing properties  help to supply an immediate to the dehydrate skin to make it soft and smooth ''

Enriched with liposome Vitamin b , niacinamide ,camellia seed oil

With Liposome vitamin E , Broccoli extract , niacinamide


Other than niacinamide, vitamin ABCE the ingredients that caught my eyes is Liposome 


What is liposome ?

From the International Journal of Research in Pharmacy and Chemistry:

“Liposome established themselves as a promising novel drug delivery vehicle in several different basic sciences and as a viable alternative in several applications. Liposomes are microscopic spheres with an aqueous core surrounded by one or more outer shells consisting of lipids arranged in a bilayer configuration. Liposomes are acceptable and superior carriers having ability to encapsulate hydrophilic and lipophilic drugs and protect them from degradation. It also has affinity to keratin of horny layer of skin and can penetrate deeper into skin and hence give better absorption.”

And liposome are widely use in skincare products too .
The famous one gonna be Cosme Decorte Moisture liposome .

But today we not gonna talk about this , so back with Banobagi vita genic jelly mask

The mask paper is moderate thickness and soft , with 100 % cotton .Pleasant to put on and with a slightly perfumey scent , just slightly .


This is the 'essence' that left over in the package . And i know why their name 'jelly mask ' come from . It truly thick and almost gel-like consistency . It leave sticky after you massage onto your skin .


The cutting are pretty well on me . Not too big or small.

It takes around 30 minutes to fully absorb , and you can notice my skin really drink it up .

 Before : oil 20.8    water 46.3
After    : oil  25.1      water 55.8



I find my skin have great natural glowwww. This is clean face, no make up or filter .

I highly recommend give this mask for a try .

Hydrate - Yes
Cutting -Good fit
Lasting - Yes , my face look 'glow' all day long
Price : affordable , About 1 USD per piece
No overpowering perfume , No allergy reaction (for me ) , And a lots extra 'jelly essence'

Helly everybody =)

Its time to update my empty products record .

I force myself to make a empties record so there are no leftover or waste . ˙˚ʚ(´◡`)ɞ˚˙


So lets start off with the products that i used in this month

1.Mamonde Rose Water Toner -150ml

-This one i got is old packaging , new one is in green .
-This is 'supreme' version , which is the moisture version of Revive moisturizing renewal cream
-Creamy,thick and almost-near-to balm consistency
-Suitable for dry or very dry
-It gives result like how their original version moisturizing renewal cream as, but slower .
for me i can feel the 'glowing' effect after few application with original version but it takes 10 days for this supreme version .
-taste like shea butter and some sour ( maybe mandarine?)

Conclusion :
I brought the original version of  Revive moisturizing renewal cream first , and it leave it sting and uncomfortable feeling after use . I contiguously spend about two week , but still the same .
I really love the 'glowing' effect in next morning , i can tell the glowing is come within my skin , not reflect of a thick layer of silicone . My pore getting smaller and neat, and cant stop touching my face because it feel ultra baby soft , but the process is unpleasant .
So i  switch to another which is in 'supreme' version ,it gives superior moisture and i didn't feel any tingling. This 'supreme' version still works wonder on my skin , just takes a little longer of time .
After i use 'supreme' version for one and half month and i subtitle with the original one , surprisingly my skin doesn't react any tingling sensation ,my skin started adapt to it .



6. Secret key starting treatment essence - Rose

-Contains 94% galaxtomyces extract
- Water-like consistency ,Smell wonderful because it contains rose water 
- Classy glass bottle . Oh ya this bottle look alike SK-II Facial treatment essence

Conslusion :
I use it subtitle with SK-II facial treatment essence . For sure it can't gives what SK-II does, But still a great product . I highly recommend this products , because
1.It it Cheap ! Rm40 is a steal
2.Hydrate , refresh , and prep the skin
3.Good rose scent
4.Luxurious bottle
5.Suitable for all skin type.

It contains galactomyces ,so it will help renew dead skin cell . It also contains niacinamide , some plants extract and rose water , but with super affordable price tag . The method i use is pour essence onto my palm and patting to my face until fully absorb and repeat about 3 to 4 times .I can feel glowing , hydrate and plump after this process . Since it is cheap , i don't need worry about the amount that i use .
*i have combination dry skin

I will do a watery essence comparison including Secret key ,SK-II, Missha , Hera soon, stay tune -

My daily morning routine
1.Cleansing
2.Mist
3.Hydrating essence/booster Suisse programme cellular booster
Must be gel-liquid texture , because i use as massage fluid too . Depuff my chubby face
4.Moisturizer with SPF

I replace my toner with mist because i am ... lazy. especially in my rush morning . ( i will still using toner with cotton in night routine )
I spray the mist on right after i towel dry my face , and while waiting the mist run through my skin i can fold my blanket and wake my children up .

The product i want to review is

Innisfree Jeju sparkling mineral mist

 I got this from my mother in law =) during her Seoul trip

Enriched with sparkling thermal water from the pure jeju island to deliver moisture deep into your skin while helping brighten skin .


I only able to type those thing i understand

Innisfree jeju sparkling mineral mist 
This facial mist , formulated with jeju sparkling thermal water, deliver abundant minrals and moisture into your skin to instantly relieve skin dryness .

Direction : whenever when your skin feels dry , spray onto face with your eyes closed and gently pat to finish .

Ingredients : Onsen-Sui ( 90 %)<-- an="" in="" is="" island="" jeju="" korea="" p="" the="" thermal="" this="" water="">  ,propanediol , dipropylene glycol , citrus unshiu peel extract , orchid extract , camellia sinensis leaf extract , camellia japonica leaf extract , opuntia coccinellifera fruit extract, peg-60 hydrogenated castor oil  , caprylic/caprictriglyceride , thenoxyethanol , fragrance .

Thermal water 90 % （≧∇≦）ъ NICE！
I notice they write some information about this thermal water in the box but too bad i don't understand  .


 Packaging : Light weight plastic bottle with spray head .

Slim size 80 ml with travel friendly plastic container is perfectly for people likes to keep one in their bag .
I don't usually put mist in my bag ,but i will have one on my desk . The bottle is light enough and worry-free ( yes to plastic packaging )
But the big downside for packaging is the spray head doesn't create a fine mist , the mist come out with nearly like water drop and not evenly . I always get wet on forehead but need to retouch on other area .
The spray head is just slightly - briefly better than the one i get from daiso .
Sometime i get some white dot foam on my face ಠ╭╮ಠ

Mist itself have a very light floral plus some sparkling mineral scent . Fade out very quickly .



Conclusion 
  -The mist does what it promise , it deliver moisture to my skin and relieve dryness
-You will feel a thin layer of moisture after a several spray . 
-It come with a slim and travel friendly packaging
-The spray head is very poor
- This bottle only last about 1 month for me
-The scent is not overpowering ,  quite refreshing
-6 free system ( i not sure what it 'free' about , please click on the picture if you understand korean )

Today i want to share a great japan skincare line that i have adore for a long time . I have been using more than 2 years and the products is cheap, good quality and gives intense hydration .Definitely a good pick if you are on budget .


1.Sana Namerakahonpo cleansing wash ( Basic range )
2. Sana Namerakahonpo moisture skin lotion ( intense / 濃）
3.Sana Namerakahonpo Essence (Basic range )
4. Sana Namerakahonpo Emulsion / milky lotion  ( Whitening range )

I have used a lots more before i start to blog . These is what i have currently . The packaging may different with website because japan cosmetic always repackaging their products .
Most of japan skincare products ( especially drugstore brand ) didn't print out their expire date or manufacture date on their product ,instead they put batch number and transform new packaging after 2 or 3 years .

So what makes this series so great?

-The one i using is rich version but the consistancy still watery , but feel a little more moisture than normal version
-My favorite product among all .

-Can feel the moisture and softness right after apply .
